What shall we say to our Father in heaven when we stand before Him of the stranger who came to our door in need ?
Know you not who knocks ?
Is it not I, the Lord who comes as the orphan child, the widow, the poor, those who have been oppressed and the sick ?
Behold, do you not know that I have placed seeds of greatness in all of My children ... have you seen the inward parts of the heart which I did create... Do you know which of My priceless children will answer My call to glory or which will stray ?
Why do you condemn yourself by judging each other ? For your blessing is in the obedience of My will . Did you not recognize Me in the breathe of life which I Myself breathed into each of My creations?
If I send My child to your door, have I not asked you to serve them? If I wanted the government of man to care for My children, what need have I for you , whom I have blessed and called My own...
Was it not recorded in My holy word, he that considers the plight of the poor : the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble... Psalm 41,1
And to whom oppresseth the poor, reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth Him, hath mercy... Proverbs 14;31
Matthew 25:32-46 KJV
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee ? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee ? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Why would anyone deny for themselves, the blessings of our Lord by turning a blind eye to the needy ? Yet that's exactly what I see... Instead of opening our doors we lock ourselves in... Instead of bravely stepping out in faith, we sidestep controversy... As if it were not a part of the very fabric of our faith...
Folks, helping the poor is fundamental in our walk of faith! One cannot ignore the call of Yeshua and call themselves a faithful servant of God! He came to heal the sick not the healthy !
Don't worry about what someone will do with the blessings he receives, rather concern yourself more with the account that you must give of your own actions, or lack there of ! Even of the Pharisees Yeshua said, I will not know you !
We really need to put away the fear of who when and to what degree we will avail ourselves to help Gods children in need. Just pray and give Gods Holy Spirit full reign with our hearts!
Now is the time for action! When our Lord returns, may we all be busy with our lights on high!
I pray that you will be strengthened and encouraged by today's word ... motivated to step out of your comfort zone... into radical faith... Mountain moving faith... in the name Yeshua! Amen.
